Rest in Peace

If you know me, you will know that i am an aniaml lover.
And so today, is well, just a really bad day. Just got the phone call that my dad when and had our dog put down.
When they say that dog is man's best friend. This is so very true. Skipper was my best friend and was part of the family :)
Skipper was 16 years old and may she rest in peace.

Here are some photos from Ashley & Cole's portraits. I believe that Ashley is 3 1/2 and Cole was a month or a little over a month old in the photos. Very nice to work with both!

What's going on...

Last week i took the week off an traveled back home. Boy, it's nice to just be back home.
Also, while back home. I got to just my studio lights for the first time. I took three different families portraits. (I plan on posting some photos). It made me realize that photographer (studio work) is a lot harder than i thought, which may be a good thing :)
On Friday, i will be shooting Newell's 8th grade graduation. Which will be a different experience for me. But I'm up for the challenge.

A little bit of everything ...

I don't know about everyone else, but it in mornings i have a schedule i follow. So this morning as i check both of my email accounts. My yahoo account always sends me a reminder of what's going on that day. And today, well, i just had to laugh. Today was golf at Boulder Canyon. And there is so much snow, which isn't bad. The wind behind the new snow is what is bad. So, I am going to assume that most of the stuff on my sked will be postponed or called off, until the snow is gone and temps are back up.

Last weekend...
Last weekend i spent with my husband back in Gregory. The Gregory Track Meet was called off, so we went turkey hunting. Adam and I were out less than an hour (driving time included) and got a turkey.
On Saturday, I also celebrated my 10th year without pop. Don't know why i gave it up in the first place, but i really can't see myself drinking one now :)

What's still coming up...
Let see here, within the next two months, I have a engagement session with Amanda and Ted. I am excited for this. I have known Amanda since i was in high school.
Sometime this summer, i have two senior sessions (So far). Both students are from Newell and i am really excited to be working with both of them. I have some ideas in mind, which i should write down :)
In June, I will be taking go kart photos of the Dakota Kart Racers. This will be fun! My parents had a go kart around 3-5 years ago. I just loved the thing! We were going to be taking the photos tomorrow, but with the weather, we postponed it until June 28. Also, here is their Web site.. http://www.dakotakartracers.com/
Also in June, my alumni basketball game back in Ethan. It will be nice being on the court again.
And in October, my first wedding :) And i have said this before about this, I am excited and so nervous to be doing this.
And that should lead me back to the fall sports season again.


Things i want to try, business wise
If anyone wants to Rock Their Dress, please let me know. Off to the side is a couple of links to other Web sites. Now, this doesn't have to be just a dress. I'm looking for anyone who whats to rock their wedding dress, prom dress or even a graduation grown. Or really, anyone who wants to trash any of them :) I really am thinking of hiring someone, so i can rock my wedding dress. I think it's such a fun idea. Instead of putting that dress in the closet, why not get some more great photos.
