Bear Country USA

Every year the guy that owns Bear Country drives across the state to pick up a 'Big' load of pumpkins from my parents. So while he was there last year, he handed out some free passes to Bear Country.
Now, this pass has been hanging up in our apartment for two years about ready to expire. So Adam and I headed there last weekend.
Here are the photos that Adam and I ended up with ...

Catching Up

Ok, so i am starting to catch up with all of my things to do. After spending my two weeks back home, i have been, well, busy! Still haven't caught up on my list of things to do yet, but maybe by the end of this week i will.

I decided to put some more photos up of when i was home :)

I have found myself in LOVE with Erin Vey Blog. She is a pet photographer, and I truly love her work. So, when i was in Gregory, i thought i would take some photos of Pug (His name really is Pug). I know that my dog didn't like photos to well, but Pug, HATES photos! Every time i would point the camera at him, he would look away, then gave me the evil eye when i put the camera down. It didn't take him too long, maybe a minute or two to get the heck away from me and hide.

Pheasant hunting down in Gregory. Didn't get to take to may photos this year. I got to walk some of the fields :)

I Love this photo. This is Patch (Above) and Roger (below). These photos pretty much show the personality of these cats. Patch is very curious, and well, Roger NEED every ones attention. Like i said earlier in one of my blogs, Roger is our cat that rode in the back of a pickup to Vermillion and back.

Got to take some more pumpkin shots while i was at home. Of course, when your front yard is filled with pumpkins, it's pretty easy to go out and steal a couple of photos.

On of my mom's flowers she brought in before a frost warning.

Here is a shot that I didn't take. My niece took this photo. She is very interested in photography.

Harvest Fest

So the day i was going to shoot the family below, my parents and the Ethan Pride and Betterment committee sponsored a Harvest Fest. So luckily i got to take photos :)
The best part about this event being held at my parents place ... I got to decorate. Almost every year i go home and decorate something, mainly their front step. But i really didn't have time this year. So, while the weather was crappy, i decorated the shed. And luckily my mom buys Halloween and Fall decorations when they go on sale at the end of the year.
The event was a cute one. I would have been better if the sun was shining, but then i wouldn't have been able to atend the event. We had problems with paint drying. So the girls used hair dryers, which then would blow a fuse. (and so one the rest of the day).
Overall, it was fun. And i hope if they do it again ... I am able to be there.

Lingemann Family

If At First You Don’t Succeed… try a different day :)
I was able to shoot the Lingemann family while i was home. Of course we pick to shoot the photos on Sunday. Sunday came and went with cold and showers throughout the day. YUCK! So we got them in on Wednesday. Of course, we still had to put up with wind. But we got them done :)
I loved shooting these photos. Got some inside shots and then headed out on the farm. Got photos next to a corn field, combine and my favorite, OLD CARS :)
So to the Lingemann family, here is your sneak peak ... and i better get my butt back to work on your photos. (I just put my favorite ones up here, so really, i only have six done).
Enjoy :)

Cousins

While i was back home, i got a call to take photos of cousins. Now, while take the boys' photos, I couldn't get over how they act just like my nephew's :) These boys are very lucky for the fact that they live in the same town and are around the say age.
So, Kerri and Kathy, here is your sneak peak ...

OK, so this is Roger. He must love people or cameras or both. While i was at home, i seen many people picking Roger up and taking photos of him. He even jumped into someones pickup and rode all the way to Vermillion and back (in the box of the pickup, no topper on the back). So, no wonder he is in these photos.
