Cody & Abbey
I had the pleasure of shooting a friend of mine today. Abbey is like a little sister to me. We grew up together and she was always at the house while visiting my little sister.
They made this shoot very easy. Cody and Abbey are really cute together. And will fit together really well, as they get married and spend the rest of there lives together.
Thank you both for the wonderful time :)

Just one of those weeks ...
We have all had 'Those' weeks or days. If something is going to go wrong, it does ... and not to just one thing.
First of all, i will start off by saying, i have my first wedding to shoot in a week :)
OK, back to my week. On Tuesday i headed up to Newell for a volleyball match. And if anyone was there or even noticed, i left after the second game. And if you look at the Web site, i didn't have to many photos up. The whole night, i was just fighting with my camera. Everything seem to be in focus, but it wouldn't take a photo. So i just figured, i would come home and deal with it the next day.
So Wednesday, i woke up, work on the Web site. And start to play around with the camera. And it is doing the same thing. While i am working on it, I'm not feeling so well. Adam had a sore throat, and i know a couple of family members had one too while i was back home.
So after debating on what to do about the camera the whole night (because of the wedding in a week), i came down with something. Sore throat, sore muscles, really, really bad headache and a horrible fever. My husband even said i was to hot to lay next too.
Like i said, if anything can go wrong it will!
So this morning i headed over to Rapid, picked up another camera body (which i didn't want to do) and I seem to be getting over this sickness thing (well i hope i am).
Maybe in time for some engagement photos tomorrow morning and hopefully a Newell football game :)
So i am hoping that everyone else is having a better last couple of days then i am :)

Weekend photos
So this past weekend, Adam and I headed to my parents home. There is something about Fall that makes me what to go home and stay away from home at the same time :)
For anyone that doesn't know, my parents raise produce. Ever Fall the front yard turns bright orange from all of the pumpkins.
So Saturday, Adam and I worked out in the field. Started off picking squash with my dad. Took a little break to check out my brothers house that he bought and waited for my sister and her family to come down. The 'boys' when out to pick pumpkins and tomatoes that night, while I started on corn stalks.
Sunday after getting back from church, i took a couple of photos of my niece's and nephew ... while the boys pick another load of pumpkins. I will but some photos up of the kids below.
My favorite thing about heading home ... All of the stuff i get to bring back to Sturgis :) Fresh potatoes, apples, onions, tomatoes, squash, colored corn and which every pumpkins i want to pick out :) My choice this year, was a green pumpkin and a really bumpy pumpkins. (I should take photos of them!)
So please enjoy the photos :)

National Sheepdog Finals
Adam and I attended the National Sheepdog Finals for a little bit on Saturday. And let me tell you these dogs are amazing!
Having owned a border collie, it is kind of funny how much of this stuff is in their blood. We had never trained our dog any of this stuff, and yet she had the same instincts as these trained dogs.
These dogs are truely amazing! Below is a photo of Jake.

That's right, go ahead and Yearbook yourself. One of my friends on facebook uploaded some funny photos of himself the other day. And after looking at them, they have the Web site listed on the bottom.
Check it out, http://www.yearbookyourself.com/.
Here are some examples of Adam and I. :)
