Thanksgiving

I know i haven't blogged for awhile. Things have been busy around here, in a good way :)

But i just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. May you all be blessed to be around family and friends. And safe travel weather. And lets keep in mind on what we are thankful for this year.

Taylor Senior Session, Part 1

I just got back from taking Taylor senior photos, part one. I will be leaving soon to shoot the rest of them at 2.
We traveled up to Spearfish Canyon to take the first half. And like always, i have to come home, upload the photos ... and pick out my favorites to share with all of you.

New Puppy

Second reason for being busy lately ... We got a new puppy :)

I picked her up in Ft. Pierre on Oct. 9. So she spent almost two weeks back home with me before we were able to close on the home.

My husband picked out Addaline for her name. We call her Addy. She is an Austrian Shepherd ... and a handful :)

We thought it would be better to get one potty training project out of the way before the baby arrives in Feb. So far, she is doing pretty well in the potty training department. Only a couple of accidents here and there.

I will be posting new photos of her soon. We had our first photo shoot today. Before we starting things looked good, and after we were done, i had stuff torn apart and bite marks on everything. (You'll understand after looking at the photos).

Hope you all are enjoying the nice weather that is/will be making a return.

PS: Friday i will be shooting senior photos :) Thank goodness for nice weather coming back around. This is the third date we have tried with Taylor, so 70 degree weather should work great!

New Home

As of October 23, we got the keys to our first home. We are still living in Sturgis, but just a different location now.

So when i say things have been busy lately, this is one of the reasons. Packing up the old apartment, cleaning the new place, moving, putting everything away at the new place and cleaning the old apartment before the first of the month. Boy I'm glad i am done with some of this stuff.

Now i just need to put some more stuff away and then we can start on some projects around the home. I started taking wall paper down in the baby's room ... What a mess that was. The border (wall paper) was EASY! But all of the wall paper under the pink paint is maybe more than i can handle. At least i think i have all of the wall paper off ... it's the old glue I'm having troubles with.

So, yes, i think we will be busy for a while on new projects. :)
