Newell vs. Custer basketball

So last night Newell hosted Custer in a doubleheader. And boy I'm glad i went. Not only do i still have to work on photos and post them to the Web site, but i get out of working on wedding photos for a day!!! :) (Juli, Tim -- If your reading this, i do have 525 photos done with a couple more hundred to look at ... I need a break :) )

Christmas Gift

OK, so I've been meaning to blog about this. At first i couldn't because not everyone got theirs let, then i forgot about it. Well, the other day i received a email from one of my friends who received on of my Christmas gifts. And well, she loves it :)
In my family, as the family has been growing we pretty much stopped giving gifts out. Yes my parents still give the grand kids gifts and we get a little money. But we don't get to open any presents. So after Christmas last year, i thought of something that would be easy to make and I'm sure everyone would like it. (at least i hope they did).
I come from a baking family. And I LOVE to bake, it's pretty much a hobby, well, kind of. It's just something i like to do.
So in a years time, i took recipes that have been in the family. I tried new recipes. If they made the cut, they went in the book. Also, with me liking pictures. How can i not have had photos in the book. Of course not all of the recipes have a photo, most of them did.
My thought on it, when i get older and am looking for a recipe i made 2-3 years back. If i just look for the picture i am more likely to find it and make it again :)
This was a fun project to make, many stops to the UPS store in Mitchell and I'm glad I'm all finished :)

Tim & Juli

Congrats to Tim & Juli who were married this past Saturday. What a beautiful small wedding surrounded by close family and friends. Now, I know that Tim and Juli may not be able to see the sneak peak, depending on what time they left for their honeymoon, but here is a sneak peak at some photos :)

Just an update on the Newell Quad wrestling photos. I will not be working on them today for i am getting everything ready to head to Gregory. (I don't want to forget something like i did on my last wedding).
So, I will work on the photos on Monday or Tuesday of next week.

Catching Up

Just an update. Last week i was back East River to shoot the Rustlers. And though i have no posted since i got back. I thought i would throw some photos together. No only of Ethan, but a couple of Newell photos i took last night.
I plan on shooting wrestling tonight and then will be on the road again Friday. I will be shooting a wedding in Gregory. I will post a couple of sneak peek photos when i get back.

Spearfish Canyon

First of all, i hope that you all had a safe and exciting New Year's Eve. Of course, i was sleeping by 10:30, so mine was at least 'safe'.
