With a day like today, and a day like tomorrow were they are predicting temps to reach around 60 one would think that spring is around the corner. I'm kind of hoping so, but i know better. I grow up 'East River' and back there we always seem to get a blizzard around March. Pretty much anyone you talk to says..."I know that the state basketball tournaments are coming up, so we are going to get hit" When I moved out here, people tell me that it really doesn't rain or snow out here. Is this my luck that it snows and rains all of the time since I've been out here? I remember being little and coming out here for vacation. It was just pour out. I even remember my dad not being able to see out of the van window because it was so bad. I'm so not complaining about it raining. One of my favorite things about Sturgis is a nice thunderstorm. The thunder just rolls through the hills, i love that. Not sure that out this way has to worry so much about tornadoes either.
I'm just hoping if 'West River' and 'East River' get hit with a blizzard that it's not Tuesday or Monday of the following weekend. I hope it sticks around for the basketball state tournament (one of them). I hate driving in non-sunny conditions.
So with it being nice out, i will take my second walk in the past couple of days and get out and enjoy the weather before it changes on Sunday. Maybe i can get out of house cleaning and my husband will help with that before his parents come tonight. Haha! Yeah, right!
And as i end, i will quickly share with you want i did yesterday. I went out yesterday and tried finding really 'cool' places to take senior photos. That way if anyone is intrested, i have some spots. But i got the idea from another photographer to go out at take a point-&-shoot camera and just take a photo by some locations that would work. So that is what i did. And beings i have not lived out here long, if you have any places out this way, that you think are good places. Please share. It would help me about greatly!
